We’re all going to make mistakes, big and small, and if someone else is affected, it’s going to require an apology, and that’s good, but solving through it vs. offering excuses is where character is shown.
Do your best, be true to yourself, to your values, trust the people who care about you and their feedback, and then go about being the best you can be.
I think the best way I can say it is by asking the why question immediately validates what is meaningful and minimizes what is meaningless.
